Amanda Dunn works as a Business Development Executive at Direct Currencies, the bronze sponsor of The Expat Woman Summit.
Amanda studied International Affairs and French during undergraduate at GWU and during graduate school at NYU. During high school, she became a foreign exchange student in the south of France, living with a host family in order to learn the language. She loved her time abroad and subsequently went on to study at Sciences Po during her university years and eventually moved to the Bordeaux area to work in Cultural Heritage. Having fallen in love with an American man, she moved back to the New York City before eventually settling in San Francisco. Amanda’s professional experience includes Foreign Exchange Analytics at Bloomberg, Private Wealth Management at Goldman Sachs and a pivot back to Foreign Exchange with her current company, Currencies Direct.
