How to Negotiate the Smart Way

We negotiate all the time, at work, at home, with vendors, other businesses, colleagues, family, and friends. Finding a way to get what you want while addressing wants of others is key to a successful negotiation. That is, if you treat the negotiations as a conversation instead of an argument, you are more likely to end up with what you want. This skill is especially important for you, as an international woman, because you have to get what you want despite language, cultural, legal, and economic barriers.
