Project Analyst
 
Provide project coordination and report creation expertise to support Public Sector contracts in a high energy environment. This experienced candidate will possess a broad knowledge of business operations and be able to analyze and recommend solutions that will apply to our contract. The skill set required for this position includes a high level of competence in communication, organization, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and the ability to monitor and coordinate all aspects of a project. Doing what is necessary to get the job done accurately and efficiently is imperative; errors can cause considerable delays, expenses and/or disruption. This position has occasional off-hours work requirements.
 
Our office is located in the Financial District of San Francisco. The successful candidate will report directly to the Program Manager.

REPRESENTATIVE PRINCIPAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Provide statistical analysis to make data driven recommendations (Microsoft Excel modeling – – including pivot tables, macros, etc.)
  • Prepare and distribute recurring client reports
  • Communicate task progress to all team members, and be able to clearly present issues and options
  • Act as liaison between our office and client, monitoring their needs
  • Must possess the skill to foster a professional relationship at all levels of the clientele
  • Fulfill, analyze and generate client and/or management report requests by using available tools such as database queries, canned reports and other data
  • Collaborate with technical development team and subject matter experts to satisfy contract requirements, and manage client expectations
  • Create business and functional requirements for enhancements and new system initiatives working with the client and the remote technical development team.
  • Develop training documentation client for client presentation
  • Analyze operations and recommend business process improvements
 
 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS, Work experience in handling projects
  • Broad working knowledge of business analysis practices and procedures
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to effectively interface with clients, vendors and subcontractors
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to exercise considerable individual judgment and initiative in conducting the necessary operations within a project or task
  • Ability to listen, analyze issues and recommend solutions
  • Ability to be accurate, with a keen attention to detail, is critical
  • Ability to coordinate project activities with diverse groups and individuals
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously, prioritize tasks and know when to escalate issues
  • Ability and enthusiasm to learn and become an expert on proprietary systems, hardware and software
  • Ability to work independently and to think outside the box for solutions
  • Ability to work under challenging deadlines meeting deliverable timeframes
  • Report generation and database query experience helpful
